Spay/Neuter Assistance

Pets who are spayed (females) or neutered (males) generally live on average about 40% longer than unaltered pets.

Female spayed cats are less likely to develop mammary cancer. Neutered males cats are less likely to fight and/or "spray" (marking their territory)

Kittens can be weaned from their mother when they are 6-8 weeks of age.

Female cats can become pregnant at 3 1/2 - 4 months of age. They can have up to three litters per year with 4-6 kittens per litter.

Female dogs can have up to two litters per year with 6-10 puppies per litter.
